Hiring now, for an experienced Supply & Demand Planning professional, to join one of the world’s most respected family-owned business, who manufacture and sell high quality premium products the world over. Joining a collaborative, close knit, solutions led team, you will be the proactive superhero, who is the go-to person for all the supply chain answers.
What you will be doing…
You will be responsible for planning and organising the supply of product through optimising inventory investment and advising on production requirements, proactively communicating the business intelligence necessary to achieve relevant customer service goals.
- Manage the communication of product availability on a regular basis with accurate and timely information.
- Use demand to generate line schedules using available system tools. Manage all dependencies and requirements arising from use of the schedule including MRP. Generating a cost effective or best cost line schedule/plan that meets customer demand.
- Maintain all system data to ensure integrity of output.
- Manage coordination of materials, ingredients, labels, publications to meet the planned times.
- Appropriately allocate stock to SKUs to optimise yield, margin and service delivery.
- Stakeholder engagement both internal and external communications.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have…
- Relevant experience in a planning role, ideally within Food & Drinks sector.
- You will also have operational and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) planning experience.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practice and mandatory regulations for HMRC
- You will be educated to SCQF Level 9 or have relevant skills and experience in supply planning.
- Strong organisational skills to plan projects and meet deadlines
- Able to communicate effectively (both verbal and written skills) across multiple levels internally
- Advanced MS Excel skills and ERP systems.
- Stakeholder management – able to balance competing priorities
- Team focused and collaborative
- Resilient and flexible in approach - able to adapt to changing circumstances
