Yes? Then this generalist role as a Marketing Manager for a local, independent, family-run business will allow you to do all this and more!!
A newly created opportunity, due to increasing workloads, they are moving all marketing activities in-house. This creates a role where the individual will be instrumental in helping mould, shape and develop a growing business’ marketing plan. Based in Inverness, Highlands, this is a full-time, permanent contract with flexibility for hybrid working. Post is full-time hours, 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
THE POSITION
As Marketing Manager, you will brainstorm with the business owners to help shape their marketing strategy and plan. Bags of variety within the role, covering all aspects of email marketing, campaigns, planning content, content creation including video blogs, product and services announcements, and maintaining social meeting accounts, through to managing the advertising spend and reporting on ROI.
What will you do…
- Help to create and implement marketing strategy and plan.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and communication plans.
- Manage email marketing, social media and PR marketing channels.
- Creation of Video Content and imagery and work with 3rd party to build a library of creative content.
- Manage non-technical aspects of the website (WebFlow), including ensuring company, site and product information is kept up to date, content creation for blog and event posts, and managing online enquiries.
- Manage social media platforms.
- Manage marketing budget, including regular reporting of spend to Directors.
- Measure and report performance ROI.
- Updating customer relationship management (CRM) system to capture customers' data.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
You will need to be able to demonstrate you have;
- Qualifications to SCQF Level 8 in a relevant subject (marketing, economics, business, statistics or sociology).
- Previous Marketing experience, ideally as a marketing generalist in a B2B and B2C capacity.
- Experience in managing end-to-end digital marketing campaigns.
- The ability to provide in-depth analysis and reporting on multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Video / Film / Media creation an advantage.
- Experience using platforms such as CRMs, WebFlow/WordPress, YouTube and SEMrush.
- IT Skills MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
