We are looking for an aspiring General Manager to oversee all operational departments within a successful Hotel in Moray. If you are passionate about guest experience, have the drive to make functions the most memorable ever, with amazing Food & Beverage experience and superb planning and organisational skills – then this is the job for you!!

Hotel Management Responsibilities
As hotel general manager you will be responsible for organising all the work which goes on in our hotel: reception, food service, bar service, room service, booking, budgeting, marketing, and staff.
Main responsibilities include:
- Reporting into the General Manager and directly accountable for accommodation, food and beverage, events, and kitchen areas.
- Leading, coaching and developing your department heads inspiring a culture of collaboration, service excellence and drive for results.
- Assisting with managing budgets; driving sales and controlling expenditure.
- Ensure the day-to day operation runs smoothly, is always clean and safe.
- Support with the overall performance of the hotel, deputising for the General Manager in their absence
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Proven track record of hotel operations and event management including wedding planning.
- HNC/D Hospitality or Business-Related subject or equivalent experience.
- Personal Licence Trained
- REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent
- Good communication skills and a personable personality are essential.
- Independent Problem Solving and attention to detail
